GoHighLevel Calendar Not Syncing? What to Check

A calendar connection can appear active while events fail to show where expected. Identify which direction of syncing is failing before changing settings.

What to check, in order

  1. Identify the affected calendar. Record the HighLevel calendar, connected external calendar, account and event. Check whether the issue affects new events or existing ones.
  2. Confirm the connected account. Check that the expected Google or Microsoft account is connected to the correct user and location, and that authorization has not expired.
  3. Check sync direction and settings. Review whether the connection is intended to read busy times, write appointments or both. Different connection modes can produce different outcomes.
  4. Check time zones. Compare account, user, external calendar and appointment time zones. A shifted event can look like a missing one.
  5. Check conflicting events. Look for blocked times, overlapping events and calendars selected for conflict checking.
  6. Test with a new appointment. Create a harmless test booking, note the exact time and check both systems. Avoid deleting live customer appointments during diagnosis.

Common questions

Will reconnecting always fix it?

No. A connection can be healthy but configured for the wrong calendar or sync behaviour.

What if only one team member is affected?

Start with that user's connected account, assigned calendar and permissions.
